Beauty Vlogger Ourfa Zinali goes off on the Beauty Industry’s Shortcomings
Beauty Vlogger, Ourfa Zinali, decided she had time today to share some frustrations about how social media has impacted the beauty industry.
It all started with a simple question that Ourfa posed to her followers:
What annoys you the most about make up brands and what makes you not buy from them ever again?! #makeuptalk

The tweet generated lots of responses pretty quickly as makeup lovers scurried to share their opinions. The lack of diversity in the beauty industry, false limited edition products, and brands working with the same influencers come up often as themes in the generations.
the “limited edition” products that restock multiple times before being made permanent 😑

Not supporting working artists.. No inclusion or diversity with colors of all products.. poor customer service and relations.. not using diverse models... not being truthful

It makes me so sad... because we’re the ones who get their products published, on tv, on celebs etc. we’re out there in the trenches making next to nothing struggling to afford their products but stay loyal.. it’s sad

When they repost the same annoying ass fake MUAs on every damn company’s IG but you hardly ever see the real hardworking MUAs get reposted, like you 😒😑 I’m over it

“Limited edition” collabs that won’t ever ever come back. Then becomes permanent. People save their money for shit like this & then they find out they could’ve waited... you know? pic.twitter.com/yC92HCHtY2

I literally went to my local store and couldn’t even find a golden tan color let alone a darker foundation to purchase. Smh 🤦🏾♀️
